As usual in Valencian Baroque constructions, the dome is rounded in the interior and octagonal and pointed on the outside.
Rectangular in shape with two small wings at the head housing the sacristy on the left and the chapel house on the right. Typical Greek cross floorplan. The central nave is single, with two chapels and a short transept that leads onto the presbytery. It is barrel vaulted. All the space is centred and dominated by the dome.
As usual in Valencian Baroque constructions, the dome is rounded in the interior and octagonal and pointed on the outside. It is covered in blue glazed roofing tiles with white tiles on the angles. The portal is Doric-Tuscan with an undulating pediment. The front is closed off with a simple cornice in mixed style crowned by a steeple.
Inside the space is arranged in Corinthian style and is decorated with paintings and sculpted stucco work showing a distinctive Rococo style. The paintings in the pendentives show themes from the Passion: The Burial, the Flagellation, the Prayer in the Garden, the Descent, whereas the dome has four themes from the Old Testament.
Around the chapel, a recreational area supplied with beaches and stone tables under the shade of the pine trees isbuilt. The zone will be landscaped and decorated with a waterwheel and an ancient mill wheel. There will be paella fires, and a small lookout point commanding views of the Sierra de Irta and the Xivert Castle.
