During a very special weekend for the locals, the whole village is transformed into a world of bustle and merrymaking. The fancy-dress dances, children's and adults' processions and "burying the sardine" are the most representative activities. It's celebrated on weekend in February in Alcalà de Xivert, and the following in Alcossebre.
