Safety tips: Unsuitable with high seas. Be careful in rocky coves, especially with children - sharp rocks can easily cut skin.

This route is recommended if you have young children with you, as it is an easy trail that goes out of the LIGHTHOUSE and comes back again practically along the coastline.

Start from the ALCOSSEBRE LIGHTHOUSE and visit all the coves and beaches along the way: most of them are rocky, and the path leads through the shrubbery, young pines and a few very specimens that have been beaten into curious shapes by the sea breezes.

The last two beaches, small coves, are considered to be virgin areas, and amongst the sand are millions of tiny shells of different species and colours, sometimes whole, sometimes broken into bits, reflecting the brilliant sunshine and painting a particularly beautiful scene.

HIKER´S RULES:

Do not light fires.

Bikes and motorised vehicles are not allowed on footpaths.

On tracks and roads where traffic is allowed, always walk on your left - hand side. If using a vehicle, always keep to the speed limit (20 km/h on track).

Do not leave behind or bury rubbish. Take it back with you.

Do not harm the route, the flora and fauna or the scenery.

If you take a dog, you should have it under control at all times.

No free camping is allowed.

Do not drink water from pools, dams, wells, etc.

Do not leave the market trail.

Always tell someone where you intend to go.
